17 August – Health Checks
Another chance to drop in for a free health check and get simple, practical advice about your health and wellbeing.
24 August- WEA
WEA offer training courses for adults, in person or online. Training includes work skills, life skills, arts and crafts, languages and culture, humanities and science. Courses are low cost and sometimes free depending on personal circumstances.
7 September – Re:Minds
A supportive, parent-led service for families with children or young people with autism, ADHD or mental health needs. Offering advice, peer support and guidance from people who understand.
14 September – The Environment Centre
Expert advice on energy saving, reducing bills, and making your home more efficient.
21 September- Social Prescriber
Come and meet your local Social Prescriber. They can connect you to community activities and support services. They help people of all ages who feel isolated, have long-term health conditions, or have complex social needs that make them unwell. They act as a bridge between your doctor and your local community.
