Do you like to get creative? Are you looking for fun things to do with your friends or family? We’ve got you covered!
From Monday, 24 August to Sunday, 30 August, we will be running a week of family-friendly drop-in activity, which you can enjoy as part of your General Admission to the museum.
Theatre has long been at the heart of Manchester’s Jewish cultural life, and our collection is full of fascinating programmes, costumes and photographs that tell the story of generations of performances. Inspired by these theatrical treasures – and by a charming miniature theatre created in Manchester by the famous Pollock’s Toy Makers that delighted local families for years – you’ll have the chance to create your very own puppet to take home.
Using a range of colourful craft materials, design a unique puppet, bring your character to life, and let your imagination take centre stage as you create your own stories and performances.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This is a self-directed activity and we advise children take part with adult supervision.
The activity is suitable for all age groups – children and adults alike! All materials will be provided.
