About this Event

Drawing Hands and Feet - Art Workshop

Unlock the complexities of two of the most expressive and often most challenging parts of the human figure in this focused drawing workshop. Designed for artists of all skill levels who want to improve their figure drawing, this class offers an in-depth exploration of the structure and movement of hands and feet. Through guided observation, anatomical study, and practical exercises, students will learn how to accurately capture proportions, gesture, and the underlying bone and muscle forms that bring hands and feet to life. The workshop will introduce strategies for simplifying complex shapes, capturing natural poses, and creating depth through shading and volume. Special attention will be given to light and shadow, contour, and the gradual building of form using line and tone. Participants will draw from both reference images and life, developing confidence and precision in depicting these essential and expressive parts of the human body.
