🐇🎉Step into the enchanting world of Beatrix Potter this July at The Press Book House with a magical illustration workshop celebrating her 160th birthday!
My “Draw the Art of Beatrix Potter” workshops are officially returning for their THIRD year at The Press Book House… and this year they’re also coming to SYDNEY!
I genuinely can’t believe how much love these classes have received over the years. What started as a cozy little themed workshop has now become one of the most magical events I teach every year, and I’m so excited to bring it back to celebrate Beatrix Potter’s 160th birthday with you all!
Over two beautiful days at The Press Book House, I’ll be teaching 3 different sessions each day where we’ll illustrate some of her most iconic characters together; including Peter Rabbit, Jeremy Fisher, Jemima Puddle Duck and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle. These workshops are designed for absolute beginners and dabblers, so please don’t worry if you “aren’t artistic.” Newcastle tickets are $35 per person.🙌
I’ll guide you step-by-step through my simple 3-step method where I teach observational drawing, watercolour painting and finishing techniques with ink pen until you leave with a completed artwork you’re genuinely proud of. And honestly… the atmosphere of these classes is my favourite part.
Think coszy storybook energy, charcuterie boards, tea and coffee flowing, beautiful art materials laid out for you, and the original Beatrix Potter audio stories playing softly in the background while we create together. It genuinely feels like stepping into a little cottage world for a few hours.
