A six week course where the wisdom of medicinal herbs and plants meets the mindful, beautiful art of botanical drawing and watercolour.
With mindful observation of a plant, the quiet focus of drawing and the wisdom of herbal medicine be surrounded by the healing herbs while you learn to draw, paint and understand a deeper connection to your creativity.
Held inside the nurturing Hygēa Apothecary, each week you will slow down, pick up a pencil and really look at a medicinal herb or plant. You will learn its story, its healing properties and its place in the living tradition of herbal medicine, guided by an expert practitioner at Hygēa Apothecary.
Then you will draw it. Paint it. Make it yours.
Week by week, you will build real botanical drawing and watercolour skills while developing a more intuitive connection to the natural world and your own artistry. It is the kind of focused, absorbed practice that quiets the noise and that research consistently links to reduced stress, greater wellbeing and a genuine sense of flow.
