Dr. Glaucomflecken, AKA William Flanary, MD Keynote Lunch Lecture

Dr. Glaucomflecken, the alter-ego of William flanary, MD, uses every deep-drawn breath for a rich blend of science, medical history, and profoundly humane patient stories to cope with his own health challenges and to bring laughter to overworked, burned out clinicians. Dr. Flanary incorporates a wide range of characters who work at a fictional hospital called "Glaucomflecken General" where he satirizes stereotypes found among different medical specialties. Dr. Flanary has amassed popularity in the medical community and is leveraging irony and exaggeration to expose the ills of the American healthcare system and the lunacy of global COVID vaccine inequity.
