What: Donation Drive-Thru is an event hosted by the City of Iowa City in collaboration with several non-profit partners to offer donation and recycling options for a variety of materials during the peak of lease turnover season. This event keeps tons of usable materials out of the landfill while providing the donations to our non-profit partners. Books, furniture, clothing, food, and more will be accepted.
When: Sunday, July 19, 2026 from noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Chauncey Swan Parking Ramp lower level - enter event from Washington Street ramp entrance
