“Doc Talk” is a limited presentation series on documentary filmmaking hosted by KHOI Community Radio in collaboration with the Ames Regional Economic Alliance and the Ames Documentary Film Festival.
Join us on Wednesday, July 8, for a presentation from Brittany Prater who will talk about the craft of documentary filmmaking and share clips of her work.
Brittany is an Ames-based filmmaker, artist, and Director of Uranium Derby. She is the founder of Cornfield Productions LLC, and her films and creative work have been screened in New York and internationally. Prater holds an MFA from Temple University and a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute.
Each presentation is free and open to the public and will take place from 7:00–8:30 p.m., with time allocated for Q&A.
The series is supported in part through local option tax funds provided by the City of Ames through the Commission on the Arts.
