This event will explore the cutting-edge advancements and future prospects of manufacturing. Our speaker will be Travis Eby of MH Eby, Inc.

About the speaker
Travis Eby is a third generation owner and current president of M.H. Eby, Inc., a manufacturer of trailers and truck bodies. After graduating from Otterbein University in Westerville, OH, in 1994, Travis joined the family business working in sales and marketing. It was during his formative sales career in the late 90’s when Eby began dreaming of opening the company’s own location in the robust livestock trailer market of Iowa. That dream came true in 2005 with the opening of Eby’s sales, service and manufacturing operation in Story City. Today, Story City is Eby’s largest facility in both sales and headcount. Eby employs 600 people with locations in 8 states and has expanded its offerings into non-agricultural industries such as construction, rail road, and commercial vocational truck fleets.
Outside of business Travis enjoys non-profit board work in trade associations and faith-based organizations that support food and housing insecurity, education and youth programs. As a part-time rock guitar player, Travis’s band, Shaky C, will release its first EP in April of 2026 on Spotify and other streaming platforms, with sales benefiting PD Avengers, a global Parkinson’s Disease advocacy non-profit.
Travis and his wife Jacquie reside in Lancaster, PA and have two adult daughters.
