About this Event

Please join Davidson Lands Conservancy as we add to our vital tree canopy. Help plant 150+ trees at Fisher Farm Park. These trees add so much to our local ecosystem. They help clean our air, clean our water, lower temperatures and provide critical animal habitats. DLC will provide everything needed - gloves, shovels, rakes, trees, mulch, even pre-augered holes and a Tree Steward as your guide! We provide gloves but if you have your own, ours' are well-loved.

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty and please bring your own water. Coffee, hot chocolate and donuts will be available. All ages welcome with proper supervision. This planting is made possible part due to the generosity of grants from the Town of Davidson and Atrium Health.

As a participant in a Davidson Lands Conservancy (DLC) sponsored event, I understand and agree that I am knowingly and voluntarily participating in said DLC event after considering any and all potential risks and hazards that I may encounter, that I am free to refuse to participate in or continue activities in any setting at any time whether I feel my personal safety or well-being may be at risk or not, and that I will promptly alert the staff of DLC to any situations that I encounter or otherwise become aware of that I believe may be hazardous. I hereby release and forever hold harmless DLC and its officers, directors, representatives, agents and staff, as well as any owner of any property where a DLC event may occur, from any and all actions, cause of action, claims, demands, damages and liabilities on account of any personal injury or property damage arising out of or sustained by me in connection with my participation in a DLC event at any time henceforth. I also authorize and permit DLC to make, reproduce, publish and otherwise use photographs and/or video of myself participating in a DLC event for their business purposes (e.g., website, printed material, social media, etc.) without compensation to me and release DLC from any claim for compensation related thereto.
