About this Event

Discover the unexpected connections between South America and Aotearoa in this vibrant photo exhibition running from 21 March throughout World of Cultures.

Featuring paired images taken in Colombia and Chile alongside similar scenes captured around New Zealand, the exhibition highlights shared moments of daily life, markets, people, historic corners, street energy and cultural character. The result is a visual journey that shows how far-apart places can feel surprisingly close.

Created by a local photographer after time spent living and travelling in South America, this collection invites visitors to see both regions with fresh eyes.

The exhibition will be available to view for free in on Botany Library during the Festival of World of Cultures. A warm invitation to wander, compare, connect and enjoy.
