DISCOVERING PROPHECY – ONLINE Prophecy Training Course [Session 09]

The final [09]session of the School for Prophecy's Discovering Prophecy level one [1] training course is on Sunday, 17th November 2024. It will be conducted using Zoom online video conferencing from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm [19:00 to 21:00, GMT]. The School for Prophecy's team, headed by Mark Iles, will lead, host, and teach the course.

Registration costs £10.00 per meeting, plus the Eventbrite service fee. Concessions are available for financial hardship [Note 1] and where the same household shares one screen [Note 2] on request. The School for Prophecy level one training course, Discovering Prophecy, will help you better understand the biblical gift of prophecy, hear more clearly from your heavenly Father for yourself and others and equip you to give and receive prophetic words using biblical principles. The level one training course lays biblical foundations for prophecy’s proper use, dispels its more common myths, misnomers, and misunderstandings, and reveals its full potential as a potent Body ministry. .

The Discovering Prophecy level one training course is suitable for those with limited experience and those already moving in the gift because it explains the fundamental biblical principles and establishes foundational biblical practices that will increase your understanding, operation, and experience of the gift.

It provides clear, candid, and comprehensive teaching on all aspects of the biblical gift of prophecy, a comfortable and safe environment for you to practice, and experienced advice on hand to help you grow in the gift. The small group activation workshops are an essential part of the course and provide the necessary learning environment and relevant practise to turn the teaching into an ongoing experience. There will also be three optional ‘Open Forum’ coaching sessions, where you can ask questions and discuss issues from across the full breadth of the course.

This standard course comprises nine sessions [Note 4] covering the following teaching subjects and supporting [small group activation workshops]:

3. Hearing Your Father's Voice [Start-Up 3]
4. The Biblical Gift of Prophecy [Every-day 1]
5. New Covenant Prophecy [Every-day 2]
6. The Biblical Framework of Prophecy [Every-day 3]
7. The Principles of Testing Prophecy [Hands-free 1]
8. The Principles of Interpreting Prophecy [Hands-free 2]
9. The Principles of Responding to Prophecy [Hands-free 3]

Every meeting will include a teaching session with an on-screen presentation, an activation workshop, a small group session, coaching opportunities, and the all-important questions & answers session. Student-style presentation notes will be provided for all the teaching sessions, and video recordings of the teaching sessions will also be available to view between sessions.

[1] We offer a 50% attendance concession for those who are unemployed, in full-time education or on State benefits. We do ask that you contact your church leadership first to see if they will support you financially, given the small cost involved. However, if not, please apply to the organizers by email.

[3] There are also three advanced Extended Course sessions available, and not currently scheduled. During the last session, the organizers will survey to see if there is enough interest to enable them to offer these in addition to the standard course.
