Disarming Scripture: October Lecture Series
What do we do with the parts of the Bible that are difficult, troubling, or have even been used to cause harm? This October, join author Derek Flood and Pastor Rustin Comer for Disarming Scripture, a Thursday evening lecture and conversation series exploring what it means to read the Bible like Jesus did. Together, we’ll wrestle honestly with Scripture, discover why questioning can be an essential part of a vibrant faith, and explore a way of reading the Bible centered on the life and love we see in Jesus.
Thursdays at 7:00 PM throughout October. Come curious. Bring your questions.
Dates: October 1, October 8, October 15, October 22, October 29
$20 cost will cover lecture materials. Register using the ticket link or visit www.saintmatthew.org to learn more!
