Dirty Diggers is NMPL’s hands‑on gardening program for kids, where young gardeners dig in (literally!) as they prep garden beds, plant veggies, herbs, and flowers, and learn how to care for a growing garden from seed to harvest. Each week brings a new theme and a new chance to explore the natural world right outside the library doors. Our gardens are producing and now it’s time to learn how to use some of these amazing plants! Leafy greens and herbs make incredibly flavorful - and pretty! - homemade noodles. Participants will learn how to mix, knead, and roll their own pasta noodles and then enjoy eating the fruits of their labor! Program Cost: Free Program Age Requirements: None Sponsored by: T-Mobile Hometown Grant Registration: None Location: Library Lawn and Blocher Community Room
