There is much to learn about their botanical properties, which species live in relationship with them, and how humans can utilize them for food, medicine and fiber.
Participants will work with both stinging nettles and wood nettles as they learn how to prepare a tea, an infusion, and how to make cordage with the fiber. They will also sample a nettle quiche made with local eggs.
