Most conversations run on autopilot, meaning we tell stories, give advice and we stay in the emotional safety zone. This practice strips that away. What’s left is the present moment. Just what you’re feeling, what you’re noticing, what’s alive between you and others.
We slow down enough to see the stories we use to explain our experience then drop them and notice the emotions and body sensations underneath. This is where ahh-ha moments happen. Sometimes naming your own experience causes new insights for you and others.
This is not therapy. It’s people practicing a more honest, present way of relating with guidance from a trained facilitator and with each other.
Awkward at first. Then freeing. Then something you’ll want more of.
Possible side effects: courage, calm, curiosity, connection, presence :)
