North Wales finally gets a proper digital night out.

Digital Social Club is a regular, informal evening for anyone working in digital across North Wales, Chester and the borders. Web designers, developers, digital marketers, brand strategists, videographers, AI consultants, social media managers, e-commerce specialists, UX researchers, copywriters. If your work touches digital, you belong here.

Purpose

The bigger cities have had thriving digital meetups for years. North Wales has not. Hundreds of businesses across the region spend their digital budget outside it. Agencies in London. Freelancers they have never met. Not because the talent here is lacking, but because it is invisible. Digital Social Club changes that.

When a web designer in Mold meets a video producer from Chester and a branding consultant in Flintshire, the work stays local and the money circulates where it should. These connections need a room, a reason, and a regular rhythm. That is what this is.

Everyone is welcome.
Twenty years of experience or twenty minutes of curiosity. Agency, freelance, in-house, or still figuring it out. This is not an exclusive club. No gatekeeping, no hierarchy, no inner circle. Just people who do digital work, in one room, on equal footing.

The Evening

6:00 — Doors open, grab a drink
7:00 — Welcome and introductions
7:15 — Mini pitches. Five people, one minute each. Who you are, what you do.
7:30 — The Talk. One speaker, twenty-five minutes, on something worth your attention.
8:00 — Open conversation
10:30 — Close

The Venue

Volume 01 takes place at Hill St Social on Hill Street in the centre of Wrexham. A craft beer and social bar with character, it features exposed brick, reclaimed wood, a double-height interior with mezzanine seating, and an impressive mural wall celebrating Wrexham's sporting heritage. We'll be on the top floor for the talk. Private with large screen.

By Train

Wrexham General is the closest station, just a 10-minute walk from Hill St Social. Wrexham Central is even closer at around 5 minutes on foot. Both are served by Transport for Wales services from Chester, Shrewsbury, and beyond. If you're coming from further afield, change at Chester for connections from Manchester, Liverpool, and the North West.
