How do we celebrate Wrexham’s rich cultural diversity, to show off the different communities that make up Wrexham’s unique complex society and ensure our distinct communities are represented meaningfully in Wrexham’s UK City of Culture bid?
Join us for a chat and shared food a welcoming conversation space for multicultural organisations and their members across Wrexham County Borough, coming together to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of Wrexham’s past, present and future.
This event combines conversation, food and creativity, hosting a relaxed space to listen, share and connect. Alongside shared food and a hands-on art workshop, we’ll recognise the communities and organisations already shaping Wrexham’s cultural life and invite ideas, wishes and inspirations for what comes next as part of Wrecsam2029.
We’ll be asking:
What does the Spirit of Wrexham mean to your community?
How can we better celebrate and support cultural diversity across the county borough, especially in the current context?
What would you love to see in a future year of culture for Wrecsam2029?
This is a community-led conversation, a space where every voice matters and ideas are gathered to help shape Wrexham’s cultural future. Come share food, make something together, tell your stories, and be part of the conversation.

Workshops, drop-ins and sessions are all free to attend, and age guidance or other access information is published for each individual session, as appropriate. Sessions can be attended as walk-up sessions, with no pre-booking required.
