Dickon Edwards: On Diaries
Advertisement
Dickon Edwards — a young genius loci of the queer and indiepop scenes of turn-of-the-millennium London — has one of the longest-running Internet diaries in the world.
The diary, now being published by P&H Books, takes us to clubs and gigs and sites of historic Soho.
Join us as Dickon reads from his diaries and offers insights into the diaries of literary and artistic others including Samuel Pepys, Derek Jarman, and Virginia Woolf.
The event is hosted by pop culture historian Travis Elborough and will also feature guest DJs, guest readers, and books/merch for sale.
The event takes place upstairs at the Betsy Trotwood on 22nd August. 2:30pm for 3pm until 6pm.
Tickets are FREE, but must be reserved in advance on Eventbrite:
