About this Event

Step into the fascinating world of bees with Moe the Beekeeper, founder of Diaspora Honey, for an immersive, hands-on honey extraction workshop at Grounded.

During this interactive experience, you'll learn the art of harvesting honey straight from the hive while exploring the essential role bees play in our ecosystem. Moe will share the history of beekeeping, the cultural significance of bees throughout time, and what it takes to care for a thriving colony. Whether you're curious about starting your own hive or simply want to deepen your appreciation for these incredible pollinators, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from an experienced beekeeper.

Each participant will extract and take home their own 8 oz jar of fresh honey, making this a sweet experience you'll remember long after the workshop ends.

After the class, stick around for a special Diaspora Honey pop up, where you'll have the opportunity to shop a selection of honeys and connect with Moe to learn even more about the world of beekeeping.
