About this Event

The DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), pursuant to the requirements of D.C. Official Code Section 42-3171.03 (a)(1), has scheduled a public hearing on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 5:00 pm. The hearing will occur on the first floor of DHCD’s Multi-Purpose Room located at 1909 Martin Luther King Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20020, to consider the proposed disposition of the properties noted below.

DHCD's Property Acquisition and Disposition Division (PADD) included this property as part of the Winter 2025 Solicitation for Offers (SFO). The parcel was solicited on March 20, 2025, and the SFO sought proposals for the acquisition and development plan for the vacant land site. The competitive process resulted in the selection of NOVA Design & Development LLC (NOVA), the “Developer”, who has been awarded the property. The offer was approved by DHCD management, and the Public Hearing is scheduled for Monday August 24, 2026.

The public hearing is being conducted to ensure that citizens are informed about the disposal and development of the property identified above to the named Developer, and to ensure that all citizens have the opportunity to present publicly their views concerning such disposition.
