This Spring we have partnered with local professors to bring an all new season of of our Prof Picks Series back to the Ambler! Local professors and experts curate a film for the big screen, introduce the movie and then, after the film, they host a post movie Q&A in the theater! The Series continues on April 30th with a '90s film starring Denzel Washington chosen by Tim Connolly, Assistant Professor of English at Montgomery County Community College. He has researched, written, and given presentations on gender and Hollywood film during the Great Depression, focusing on stars such as Norma Shearer, Robert Montgomery, Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, and others. He currently hosts Sound And Vision, a weekly radio show on Montco Radio where he reviews current and classic films and plays music to accompany the review.
