Reading to the Dogs at Ambler Library

**Please only register the kids in your party**

The Nor’wester Therapy Dogs organization will be providing their friendly dogs who love to listen to children read. The program is education based and geared to children in Kindergarten through Grade 6.

Your child will have the opportunity to read to 4 friendly dogs in our spacious and bright new community room. We'll also have quiet activity centers set up.

The dogs are wonderful ambassadors and comfort all readers- those that struggle and those that don't - by resting calmly beside them. Some children take bold steps towards becoming life-long readers by enjoying books with a “reading buddy.” And many just enjoy spending time at the library beside a therapy dog.
