Welcome to Detroit Paradise!

The exhibition "DETROIT PARADISE" is the 5th group exhibiton presented by Push Gallery Detroit.

This exhibition looks to challenge artists to imagine Detroit as a paradise. Rather than focusing on the city's struggles, artists are invited to envision Detroit's highest potential. Its neighborhoods, people, culture, cars, architecture, future, dreams and possibilities. The exhibition encourages creative optimism while celebrating Detroit's resilience through paintings, drawings, photography sculpture, mixed media, installations, textile art and other artistic mediums.

This exhibition looks to celebrate Detroit's Month Of Design Sept. 1st-Sept. 30th by:

• Showcasing emerging and established Detroit based artists
• Encouraging artists to reimagine Detroit specific cultural norms
• Introducing new and existing art enthusiasts to Push Gallery, Detroit's only art gallery open till 2am daily
• Increasing community engagement and programming
• Creating opportunities for local vendors to reach customers in person
• And encourage visits to other Month of Design curated events and gallery spaces.
