Get a panoramic view of Cuba during this exploration of the island’s traditional dances. Master dancer and artist-in-residence Marisol Blanco will discuss the historical and cultural roots of many of Cuba’s iconic folk dances originating from across the country. Join us for this special presentation which will include dance demonstrations of a variety of dance genres and an interactive workshop for participants to learn the steps for themselves.This program will be presented in both English and Spanish.
