Supporting someone living with dementia can bring unexpected challenges, questions and emotions.

Join us for an informative session with Dementia Australia to learn more about dementia, understand its impact and explore practical ways to support someone you care for.

Whether you're navigating a new diagnosis or have been supporting someone for years, this session is an opportunity to build your understanding, ask questions and connect with information and support to help you along the way.

You don't have to navigate the Carer journey alone. Come along, learn something new and discover the supports available to you.

Please note: These sessions are especially for people who provide unpaid care to family members or friends, as recognised under the National Carer Recognition Act. This means the sessions are not suitable for paid carers, support workers or service providers, unless you also provide care for someone personally outside of your professional role.

Carer Gateway Wellways recognise a Carer as a family member or friend who supports someone living with mental health, addiction, long term injury, disability or frailty. We offer FREE supports to Carers including counselling, coaching, finical coaching, in-person peer support groups, emergency respite and more.

Carers can also access to our Carer Hub in Katoomba, register to speak with our Age Care Navigator or get supported from our partners with Dementia Australia, Little Dreamers, Relationship Australia and My Dementia Companion App for FREE.
