About this Event

Inspired by the imaginative claymation works of Bundjalung artist Rubyrose Bancroft, this creative workshop invites young people to explore visual storytelling through drawing and storyboarding.

You will be encouraged to think about how storyboards become animations, flick books, GIFs or moving puppet performances. The workshop explores creativity, experimentation and imaginative problem-solving while introducing the fundamentals of visual narratives.

Perfect for aspiring artists, comic makers and storytellers, this hands-on session encouraging you to bring your ideas to life one frame at a time.

Extra info: for high school children ages 12 – 17 yrs, art materials supplied.

Bring with you: you may choose to bring a device with animation apps.
