High school students, are you ready to jumpstart your journey into healthcare? Join us for the Della Keats Program, a fully funded, four-week residential experience at UAA in Anchorage!
🏨 What You’ll Do:
Live on campus and experience university life
Complete health science pre-college coursework
Conduct health-related research projects
Shadow medical and healthcare professionals
✨ Why It Matters:
Named after Della Keats, an Alaska Native healer from Kotzebue, this program honors her legacy by empowering the next generation of healthcare leaders.
🧑🎓 Who Can Apply:
High school juniors and seniors (including GED students)
Passion for healthcare, medicine, or biomedical research
Preference for Alaska Native students and those off the road system
📅 Important Dates:
Application deadline: February 13, 2026
Program Dates: July 5 – August 2, 2026
