Read to a dog! Therapy dogs are patient listeners for new and struggling readers. Reading sessions are 15 minutes and can be reserved in-person starting at 2:45PM on the day of the event. The final session begins at 3:45PM.
PAWSitive Reading is a special program designed to provide young children (kindergarten-4th grade) with a stress-free environment to practice their reading. Therapy dogs are patient listeners for new and struggling readers. Children who participate learn to associate reading with a positive experience and build confidence while practicing reading.
