Learn to cut custom stickers!In this introductory class at Saskatoon Makerspace, brought to you by ND Graphics, students will learn how to create custom vinyl decals using the shop's decal cutter and heat press machine. Through a combination of demonstration and hands-on practice, participants will learn how to use design software to create vector graphics, import and prepare designs for cutting, and operate the decal cutter to create custom vinyl decals. The class will also cover the use of the heat press to transfer designs onto fabrics and other materials. By the end of the class, students will have created their own custom decals and a custom t-shirt, and will have a foundational understanding of the design and production process. This class is suitable for beginners with little to no experience with design software, vinyl cutting, or heat pressing. All materials and tools will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own design ideas and inspiration.
* Participants must me be 14 years of age or older, ages 14 - 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. *
