Death: An Artistic Salon

Emerging from the Italian and French traditions of the 16th & 17th centuries, a salon is a gathering that facilitates the exchange of ideas. For this Gals & Pals “artistic” salon, we are encouraging participants to share art!

The event will begin with a casual talk given by our guest speaker, Dr. Tim Clarke. Dr. Clarke will then facilitate a group discussion with all attendees about the topic. Lastly, attendees will be invited to present their own artistic works that they created based on the theme.

For our inauguaral salon, the theme is: Death.
