D'Care Foundation's Annual Back-To-School Giveback

Join D'Care Foundation for our Annual Back to School Giveback, a fun-filled community event dedicated to helping children from low-income families begin the new school year prepared, confident, and excited to learn.

This year's event is packed with educational activities, hands-on learning, and free resources for children and families. Thanks to the support of our community partners and volunteers, participants will enjoy a day filled with learning, creativity, and celebration.

Eligible registered children will receive backpacks filled with essential school supplies to help them start the academic year prepared.

Older children will participate in a practical First Aid and CPR training session led by certified instructors.

Learn directly from Markham Fire and Emergency Services through an interactive fire safety presentation and practical demonstration.

Fun, creative activities designed especially for younger children.

Light refreshments will be available for participants.

This program is specifically designed to support children aged 4-18 from low-income households. We aim to provide direct assistance to families who need it most, ensuring their children have the necessary resources for a successful school year.
