Join us for The Den Strikes Back, Markham Student Council's official Orientation Week. For eight unforgettable days, you'll become part of a community of incoming students from Markham and every other York University college, discovering everything York has to offer before classes even begin.
This year's Orientation Week is inspired by a galaxy far, far away. You'll be assigned to one of four factions and embark on an adventure filled with immersive events, friendly competition, unforgettable socials, and experiences designed to bring students together. Whether you're stepping onto campus knowing no one or arriving with friends, you'll leave Orientation Week with memories and people you'll carry throughout your university journey.

Your Orientation Week ticket includes access to a week packed with signature experiences, including:
- Opening of The Republic
- The Kessell Run
- The Dagobah Trials
- Escaping to Coruscant City
- Finding Kamino
- Cantina Night
- Cross-College Events
- Retreating to Ahch-To
Along the way, you'll take part in faction challenges, discover campus traditions, connect with upper-year mentors & fellow first-years, and experience everything that makes Markham unique!

- Orientation Week is a dry event. Alcohol and recreational drugs are prohibited at all official programming.
- Your Orientation Week wristband & shirt must be worn at all official events.

Kits can be picked up on August 30th from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Markham Campus, or alternatively on August 31st, 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM
