This show promises to be a nostalgic journey filled with familiar music, new music, inspiring stories, and the undeniable chemistry between these two acts: The Name Droppers & The Dirty Angels.
The Name Droppers, originally called, Charlie Karp & The Name Droppers was created by Charlie in the 1980s. Charlie passed away in 2019. The band, which includes Grammy award winning bass player Scott Spray, and Classic Drummer Hall of Fame inductee Bobby T. Torello, have stayed together and released 5 studio albums since 2020. Their latest album, “Cool Blue Shoes” hit #1 on the Roots Music Report for BluesRock in 2025.
David Hull, known for his bass work with Aerosmith, James Montgomery, Buddy Miles, and his charismatic stage presence, brings his infectious energy to his new project and band, David Hull & The Dirty Angels, with guitarist Pete Cassani and drummer Stephen Hart. The Dirty Angels was a popular band formed in the 1970s by Hull and Staples High School (Westport) alum, Charlie Karp. Their shared history includes dropping out of high school to perform in the Buddy Miles Express, where one of their first gigs included opening for Jimi Hendrix at the Staples Center in LA.
Park City Music Hall has a full bar and kitchen available on-site serving craft cocktails, delicious bites and more! Come hungry! The kitchen opens at doors and remains open until you see the "Kitchen Open" light go off.
We have very limited seating for most ticketed events, as we are primarily a standing-room venue. When available, seating is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
