The Moonrise Cartel is an original American Folk Rock band blending folk, indie rock, and Americana with a touch of gospel. The band features soaring harmonies, introspective lyrics, and a vintage sound profile balanced with a modern touch — equal parts timeless, and for the time. Their rapidly growing fanbase (known as Cartel Members) now coins their music “Folk Rock from Black Rock.”
Fueled by songwriter Al Pascarelli’s deeply personal writings of a lifelong battle with mental illness, alcoholism, and an eventual emergence out of the darker shades of the human experience, this is a band with several gears — one that takes you on an incredible journey. His voice is coupled up front by Stephanie Harrison, who wows with striking vocal prowess, moving effortlessly between stunning power and heartbreakingly delicate delivery.
Multi-instrumentalist Jason Polise lays a sonic feast on lead guitar, saxophone, and keys, along with several other instruments. It is all held together by the rock-solid backdrop of Benj LeFevre on bass and Steve Tobey on drums.
A singer songwriter whose work blends indie rock, power pop, and folk rock, Dylan Connor operates in that rare space where music meets movement. His songs have been featured in Mickey Rourke’s gritty thriller Adverse, the Oscar contending documentary Little Gandhi, and licensed across networks like MTV and Discovery. This is proof that music with purpose still resonates in a commercial world.
Over the course of several albums, Connor built a distinctive sound with producer Bryce Goggin (Lemonheads, Pavement, Phish), crafting a sonic landscape that channels the anthemic spirit of R.E.M., the lyrical heart of Tom Petty, and the vulnerable intimacy of Phoebe Bridgers. It is thoughtful, melodic, and grounded in a deep literary tradition, drawing influence from acts like Nada Surf and Dawes, as well as the timeless arc of ancient epics such as The Odyssey and Metamorphoses.
Park City Music Hall has a full bar and kitchen available on-site serving craft cocktails, delicious bites and more! Come hungry! The kitchen opens at doors and remains open until you see the "Kitchen Open" light go off.
We have very limited seating for most ticketed events, as we are primarily a standing-room venue. When available, seating is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
