Whether you’d like to be introduced, introduce yourself, or simply come along to meet new people, there’s an option for everyone.
How it works
💛 Pitch yourself – If you’d like to introduce yourself to the room, you’re more than welcome to!
💛 Be pitched by Milestones – Prefer not to speak? No problem! Simply complete our presentation form and the Milestones team will create and deliver a short, engaging presentation about you, highlighting your personality, interests and what you’re looking for.
💛 Be pitched by someone who knows you – If you’d rather have a friend or family member introduce you, we’ll use the information from your completed presentation form to create the presentation, which they’ll deliver on the night.
💛 Pitch someone else – Think your friend or family member deserves to meet someone special? With their permission, complete the presentation form and we’ll create their presentation for you to present.
💛 Come as a single without a presentation – If public speaking isn’t your thing, that’s absolutely fine. You can simply attend, mingle, and get to know people naturally throughout the evening.
💛 Bring a supporter – Singles are welcome to bring one friend or family member along for support. Supporters are only able to attend when accompanying a registered single participant.
At the end of the evening, everyone will have the opportunity to anonymously let us know who they’d like to get to know better. If the interest is mutual, Milestones will make the introduction after the event.
Important Information
✨ If you’d like to give or receive a presentation, you’ll need to complete our presentation form before the event so we can prepare everything in advance.
✨ Tickets must be purchased by 31st July to allow enough time for us to create presentations, organise the running order and make sure everyone has the best possible experience.

❤️ A little note about the age range for Date My Mate…
I’ve had a few people ask whether the age range is a strict rule, so I just wanted to clear it up.
The event is aimed at 45–60, but that’s simply because people in similar life stages often have more in common. It was never intended to exclude anyone.
If you’re over 60 and feel like you’d fit in with the group, or you’d genuinely like to come along, please don’t let the age range put you off. I’d be more than happy for you to book. 😊
Equally, if you’re just outside the age bracket but feel this event is a better fit for you, please feel free to get in touch.
I want these events to be welcoming, fun and inclusive—not about policing birthdays!
For those of you who are 35–45, don’t worry… your turn is coming! 👀 I’m already planning the next Date My Mate event, so keep an eye on the page for announcements.
