Join award-winning chef and professional forager Pippa Lovell for a magical evening exploring the Isle of Man coastline.

We’ll head out together to discover and forage some of the wild botanicals growing right on our doorstep, learning what to look for, what’s useful and how we can reconnect with the incredible natural world around us.

Then we’ll gather around a crackling beach fire and use what we’ve discovered to create your own handcrafted botanical tincture to take home.

What’s a tincture? It’s a concentrated herbal extract, traditionally made by infusing plants in alcohol (in this case Vodka) or glycerine, essentially a way of capturing and preserving the properties of plants.

But, as always with Level Up, it’s about more than the activity. Wild Wisdom is about noticing what’s around us, trusting what we know and recognising what’s worth taking with us, and what we can leave behind.

We reccomend bringing a blanket and wrapping up warm if the weather is chilly. Hopefully it's glorious sunshine though.

As Wild Wisdom takes place outdoors, the event is weather dependent and may need to be rescheduled if conditions aren’t suitable. We’ll always give you as much notice as possible, and if you can’t make the new date, you’ll receive a full refund.

This event also involves walking across uneven and rough terrain as we forage along the coast. The walk easy and not as all strenuous, but unfortunately, this means we’re unable to make this particular event fully accessible. We’re really sorry to anyone this means can’t join us. 💚
