DANCE REFUGE for Women
Celebrate the emergence of Spring as we awaken our bodies and spirits to the new beginnings, renewal & vitality that this season offers 💃❤️
Join us in a beautiful community space just for women to move, release, connect & have fun!
Return to the Refuge of your own body, its inherent wisdom & natural rhythms.
Be held in the Refuge of a safe space & community of Women.
In this Refuge we will come together to be as we are, with all of what makes us human, & express this through our own unique movement.
There will be gentle guidance to facilitate a reconnection to self.
Please note there are no steps or techniques to learn.
There will be a gentle sound bath at the end to facilitate grounding.
Date: Saturday 13th September
Time: 3.00pm-4.30pm
Cost: $25-$30 (sliding scale)

This is a drug & alcohol free event, where respect forms the foundation of the held Space.
No dance or movement experience is required & all ages & abilities welcome.
Please wear loose clothing & bring a water bottle, & a yoga mat or blanket to lie on for the Sound Healing.
Facilitator
Hi, my name is Yvonne. I have been dancing for over 45 years traversing the realms of traditional dance practices, to more avant- garde styles such as Japanese Butoh, and Conscious Dance for 20yrs, & teaching dance in various capacities for over 25yrs.
I am a qualified Counsellor, Transpersonal Art Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Bodyworker, Choreographer & Sound Healer.
Dance was my first love and has continued to sustain & carry me through the winding road of life. I am ever grateful for this practice & all of the teachers who I have been lucky to learn from.
