Born in Conakry, Guinea, into the Bangoura family of Griots, brothers Epizo and Sibo are passionate advocates for the music of their homeland. As Griots they continue the family responsibility to maintain and share the knowledge of Guinean culture and carry on the tradition of master musicianship, oral history and story telling.
Epizo and Sibo are highly sought after musicians and teachers, spending their lives teaching and performing both traditional and contemporary music and dance in Australia and Internationally.
As fun and gracious teachers, Epizo and Sibo welcome students of all levels of musical backgrounds and experience. Expect to be challenged and motivated by their unique, entertaining and interactive teaching style!

Happy Buddha Retreats is offering a subsidised accommodation for this event so you'll only pay $90 per night, per person staying twin-share rooms. You must also purchase at least 2 workshops.
You’ll have access to the pool, chill out zen den and local hikes during your stay.
Parents- Happy Buddha are opening up this retreat to children too. so you can bring up to 2 kids to stay with you in your booked room. Please BYO camp beds and sheets. The cost is $10 per child per night - including food. Kids can also participate in sessions for free but must accompanied by an adult at all times.
All vegetarian meals are included!
If you’d prefer to organise your own food and accommodation, there are plenty of great options for places to eat and stay locally around the Blue Mountains.
The retreat is just a couple of minutes drive from the main township of Wentworth Falls and 5-10 minutes drive from Leura and Katoomba where there are plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and accommodation options.
***All accommodation is booked separately from drum and dance classes and packages.
Yoga sessions are complimentary!
