Volunteer numbers for this project are based on adults and children ages 11 and older. Younger children are encouraged to attend with their parents but registration is NOT needed for any child 10 and under.

What sort of work will I be doing?

LANDSCAPING: Remove mulch from raised garden beds and areas around the property that need to be plantings. Fill in soil and plant flowers and starter herbs.

PAINTING: Paint wooden flower boxes.

VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING (If you are able):

• WATER to drink
• Gardening Gloves
• Wheelbarrows
• Rakes
• Shovels / Pitchforks
• Trowels
• Shears

• OPTIONAL: Hat, Sunscreen, and Bug Spray

El número de voluntarios para este proyecto se basa en adultos y niños mayores de 11 años. Se anima a los niños más pequeños a que asistan con sus padres, pero el registro NO ES NECESARIO para cualquier niño menores de 10 años.

¿Que tipo de trabajo estaré realizando?

JARDINERÍA: Quitar la maleza y cubrir con mantillo alrededor de la escuela, y recorrer la valla perimetral y retirar cualquier basura pegada en la valla o dentro de los límites de la propiedad.

LOS VOLUNTARIOS DEBEN TRAER (¡Si los tienen!):

• AGUA para beber
• Guantes de jardinería
• Carretillas (necesitamos tres)
• Rastrillos (necesitamos tres)
• Palas de jardinería (necesitamos tres)
• Desplantadores
