CWW Summer Tour Series - August 2026
About this Event
Join us for a walk in Edmonton’s beautiful and vast river valley, recounting storytelling pieces of the Indigenous peoples who have taken care of these lands since time immemorial. In partnership with the Edmonton Heritage Council’s Commonwealth Walkway app, you'll hear these lands through the voices of those who have always called amiskwacîwâskahikan home. During our August installment, we'll learn some traditional Cree teachings, how they guide us to respect and uphold the spirit of the River Valley, and caretake for the land beyond.
This tour is the third in a series that we'll be holding throughout the summer! Keep an eye out for our next ones, and be ready to explore different sections of the Commonwealth Walkway each month.
