CWW Summer Tour Series - September 2026
About this Event
Join us for a walk in Edmonton’s beautiful and vast river valley, recounting storytelling pieces of the Indigenous peoples who have taken care of these lands since time immemorial. In partnership with the Edmonton Heritage Council’s Commonwealth Walkway app, you'll hear these lands through the voices of those who have always called amiskwacîwâskahikan home. During our final leg of the CWW Summer Tour Series, we'll cover the deep ties Indigenous People have to water and its connection to life. We'll also visit a historic gravesite and talk about the importance of honouring the past as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Day approaches.
