Customer Service Skills - FREE!

Learn essential customer service skills and improve your confidence before taking those first steps into volunteering.

This FREE basic-level one-day introductory course includes FREE lunch, tea and coffee, and all participants receive a certificate. Travel expenses to your local course are covered too.

The course runs for approximately six hours, starting around 9am and finishing by 3.15pm, but we are flexible to allow for school drop off/pick up etc making the course accessible to all.

Customer Service Skills Course Overview

By the end of this course, you will have an understanding of the following:

• Face to face customer service
• Dealing with complaints
• Accepting compliments
• Importance of product knowledge
• Using the telephone
• Taking messages
• Relaying information
• Using other forms of communication
• Emails
• Social media
• Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
• Understand the difference between good and bad customer service and how that can impact an organisation
• Tips on delivering good customer service

You don't need any prior experience to attend.

Course participants must be:

19 years of age or over

Unwaged (unemployed/retired/house person) or low-waged

UK/EU Citizens
