Born in an off-grid home on a volcano in Hawaii, Lafa has always embraced a wide range of musical influences. Starting in underground hip hop and eventually moving to Japan to help produce a platinum-selling album and play a 29-show arena tour, then returning to the electronic festival scene, where one of his songs would be featured as the trailer song for Fast & Furious 7.

After a multiyear break, Lafa is back with a fresh perspective. Leaning into his electronic music side, his new alias focuses on bringing together his love for tasteful curation and his masterful passion for smooth transitions.
