Join Sarah Kennard for an exploration of Victorian mourning customs, séances, and their obsession with talking to the other side. The Traveling Victorian Museum will present original artifacts to make you feel like you have taken a step back in time. From mourning jewelry to spirit photography, you will take a ride through the eerie bits of the era obsessed with death and the afterlife.
This special Sunday event will be held in the museum’s Community Room, light refreshments will be provided. Doors open at 12:30pm, presentation begins at 1pm. Tickets are $10 – reserve your seat by calling 480-350-5100 or book via Eventbrite (fees apply), space is limited.
