About this Event
Join us on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, as Washington County Historical Society Executive Director, Andy Stout presents, "The Archeology of Springfield Farm," a talk reporting on WCHS's recent archeology project at the site.
WCHS, in partnership with the Town of Williamsport, and with funding support from the Maryland Historic Trust, conducted the first ever archeological survey of the Springfield Farm site, a karst topography spring complex where thousands of years of human activity unfolded. Mr. Stout will present his findings for the first time during this presentation.
Culture & Cocktails is generously sponsored by the James & Mary Schurz Foundation. C&C is held on the second Friday of each month from 6:00-8:00 PM. Doors open at 5:30 PM. Refreshments and one complimentary drink ticket are included with each ticket.
This month's cocktail will be announced in July!
