Crowned in Care: A Workshop on Hair & Women’s Health

This in-person event is a chance to connect, share stories, and explore how our everyday hair styling practices and products may impact our health. This will include:

• A screening of Reclaimed: Beyond the Braid
• A panel discussion with stylists, health professionals, and researchers on hair-related exposures and safer practices
• Two interactive demonstrations: a natural hair and styling coach and a licensed cosmetologist and educator
• A reception and networking session with community partners, tabling, and additional resources.
