Join us for a free evening of information, research and conversation with the Edinburgh IBD team.
The event is IN-PERSON. We will not be live-streaming the event on this occasion, but do get in touch for the recording afterwards. Please contact Hannah (Event Organsier) at [email protected] if this is something you'd be interested in.
This event is for people living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, and for family members, partners and carers who would like to learn more. The evening will include short talks, time for questions, and the chance to speak informally with clinicians and researchers.
You will hear:
- where we are with IBD treatment now, and where things are heading
- the main results from PREdiCCt on diet, psychological wellbeing and faecal calprotectin in IBD
- about current and upcoming clinical trials
- an introduction to SENTINEL and future research directions
- about research projects including LIBDR, PREdiCCt, SENTINEL, and clinical trials at poster stands
There will be tea and coffee before the main session, and time afterwards to meet the team and explore the poster stands.
