Crochet Granny Squares

Thanks for your interest in CRFT320: Crochet Granny Squares! This class will utilize the skills you learned from CRFT120: Intro to Crochet into your first project! Learn the history and importance of granny squares while practicing the basic stitches you've learned so far.

Previously you learned:

• Slipknots
• Chain stitches
• Single crochet
• Half double crochet

In this class you will learn these new skills:

• Double crochet
• Color changing
• Fastening off
• How to read a crochet pattern
  

Take home a beautiful homedmade granny square to use as a coaster, or as the basis of a bigger project like a sweater! This 2 hour long class will get you more hands on experience with a guided project. Taking CRFT120: Intro to Crochet is not required, but is recommended, as this class will prioritize new stitches over basic ones.

Hi, I'm Grier! I've been an artist my whole life and have been crocheting for 5 years now and make my own clothes from it! I also have extensive experience with sewing, painting, and resin printing. You can find me teaching workshops on crochet and painting at Clear Creek and in my own time making custom press on nails and sewing costumes for the renaissance faire.
