Take the South shore from South Bend or Michigan City to Chicago to partake in the Halloween Critical Mass ride. dress up in costume and ride. slow roll event speed usually averages 7ish MPH.
Rolls out usually about 6 -615 CDT. It is quite a fun ride taking over the streets in Chicago. be prepared it may get cold so think warm costumes.
plan for the 4:35 pm CDT train from Michigan city. same train departs S. Bend at 4:52 EDT. Will arrive in Chicago at 5:55. leave the station and head West to Daley plaza. should arrive before they depart.
Will need to catch the 11:15 CDT train to return at 12:40 CDT to Michigan City or 2:24 am to S. Bend. If not the next train is 8:40 am Saturday. Train tickets are $11.50 per person each way, so $23 round trip.
